PARSIPPANY, N.J., – CENTURY 21 Real Estate LLC, franchisor of the world's largest residential real estate sales organization, recently launched a branded Channel on YouTube (www.youtube.com/century21), the leading online video community, that is dedicated to helping people showcase and search for real estate around the world. Aimed at sellers, buyers and enthusiasts, the Channel will provide the opportunity for customers and agents to create and submit user-generated content. In addition, to officially launch the branded channel on YouTube, the CENTURY 21 System held a national consumer-generated video contest.

SGV Memorial Day Programs

1. Allied Veterans Council Memorial Day Program - The Allied Veterans Council will sponsor its annual Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 28, at 10 a.m., at Live Oak Memorial Park. Lt. Col. Charles Wiest, president of the Council, will be Master of Ceremonies. Mayors Rob Hammond, Monrovia; Mickey Segal, Arcadia, and Lois Gaston, Duarte, will welcome the public.The Monrovia High School band will play patriotic selections. The address will be given by 1st Lt. Robert Parry, an Iraq veteran. Wreaths will be placed at the Memorial by the organizational members of the Council. The 18th District Honor Guard of the American Legion will deliver the 21-Gun Salute in honor of all veterans.Weather permitting, the condor Squadron will fly over making its awesome tribute to all of our servicemen and women. The public is urged to attend to also pay honor to all of our military.
2. Sierra Madre Celebrates Memorial Day - On Mon., May 28 the VFW will host ceremonies at Pioneer Cemetery at 11 a.m. Following the ceremonies, sandwiches and drinks will be served at the Hart Park House in Memorial Park starting at 12:30 p.m. Then, activities are planned at the Veteran Photo Wall in Memorial Park with sandwiches and drinks being served at 2:10 p.m., ceremonies will begin at 3 p.m.
3. L.A. County “Remembering Our Veterans and Their Families” Event - You are invited to the 10th annual “Remembering Our Veterans and Their Families - Past, Present and Future” event on Sat., May 26 at Arcadia County Park, 405 South Santa Anita Avenue, Arcadia.The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a special tribute to the Armed Forces at 11:30 a.m. Bring a duplicate copy of a military photo to be placed on the Wall of Remembrance.Hosted by Los Angeles County, this free event will feature skydivers; a fly over by WWII fighter planes; live music; free immunizations and health screenings; and employment, veterans and legal assistance information. 4. Memorial Day Remembrance Celebration Join with the Pasadena Senior Center to commemorate Memorial Day, on Mon., May 28. The Center, located at 85 East Holly Street, will pay tribute to our nations’ heroes with an afternoon celebration that begins at noon and includes lunch, entertainment and patriotic sing-along.Prior to the Pasadena Senior Center celebration the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 446 will begin Memorial Day observances with a special Vietnam Memorial Tribute, at 10:30 a.m. in Pasadena’s Memorial Park adjacent to the Center, on Raymond Avenue, between Walnut Avenue and Holly Street.The Pasadena Senior Center celebration will follow with a barbeque lunch that includes hot dogs, hamburgers, Cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, beverages and more. Another Great Chamber Mixer

Yesterday, a warm and sunny southern California afternoon, the Sales and Marketing team at CENTURY 21 Adams & Barnes hosted the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce's May Mixer.

A throng of hundreds that was made up of Monrovia Chamber of Commerce members, civic leaders, REALTORS, friends and family were in attendance. The group of on-lookers received over $600 in give-aways from the company's REALTORS and teams including:

Work began early this morning on preparing our Monrovia office for our yearly hosting of the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce Business Mixer.

Our Thoughts On China

This week, the CENTURY 21 Adams & Barnes team's thoughts and prayers are with the men, women, children and animals who are suffering throughout the globe.

From the tens of thousands who have perished in central China, to the Myanmar citizens and our own Oklahoma and Missouri neighbors who have seen their lands decimated by weather, it is obvious that these human tragedies are massive in scope and pain.

We think and offer our condolences to all those who have lost loved ones and who are fighting for survival.

On Wednesday, May 14, 2008, CENTURY 21 Adams & Barnes' Monrovia office will host Monrovia Chamber of Commerce's monthly mixer.

For over a month a planning committee made up of company REALTORS and staff has planned a fun-filled afternoon for all in attendance. "Every year, the mixer has grown in attendance and excitement" said GM Hugo Torres "this year, our planning committee is looking forward to hosting the business community with great food, tantalizing deserts, some fun giveaways and other surprises you must come to see."

CENTURY 21 Adams & Barnes at 2008 Relay For Life / Monrovia

Once again, the CENTURY 21 Adams & Barnes team laced up their sneakers, braved the heat and camped out for Monrovia's Relay for Life event this April.

Joined by over 20 teams and hundreds of volunteers, expectators and walkers, the team helped raiser over 102K (still counting) over a month's long fundraising campaign and the two-day relay at Recreation Park in Monrovia.

The team's theme was "Rockstars Againts Cancer" and it included a booth that allowed the public to try their Guitar Hero talents on a Playstation 2 console that was projected on a movie screen after dusk. Coupled with a top-of-the-line sound system, the booth was a big hit with kids and walkers.

The night was topped off with a Luminaria ceremony that celebrated the life and survival of men, women and loved ones who have struggled against cancer. A path of light gave Relay For Life participants the opportunity to remember and strenghten their resolve to battle a disease that afflicts so many.

The CENTURY 21 Adams & Barnes team, lead in 2008 by Jacen Crehan - REALTOR, is again proud to join fellow Monrovians at this years Relay and we look forward to making a difference again in 2009.

Real Estate Team Celebrates At Annual Awards Dinner

Over 80 of CENTURY 21 Adams & Barnes' REATORS and Sales Associates came together earlier this month to celebrate the company's successes in 2007,The Real Estate firms' top agents were presented with certificates outlining their achievements in the previous year. The evening also served as a sales rally for the company when Broker/Owner Adams (far right) looked positively at the opportunities 2008 holds for the team.Finally, owners Tom & Sally Adams (center & far right) were awarded the CENTURY 21 System's CENTURION & Quality Service awards by corporate representative Andrew Cooper (left). Altogether, the evening was a celebration of success and good things to come.
